In 2014, we started @HalalFoodMelbourne on Instagram as a digital image directory for ourselves because it was always so challenging to find new and different restaurants that serve halal food in Melbourne.
Not only did this work great for us, we quickly found that Melbourne Muslims were craving the same directory, and soon we gathered a following.
Inspired by our communities interest in Halal Food Melbourne and the daily DMs asking for recommendations we built this directory dedicated to connecting foodies with the city’s diverse and delicious Halal food scene.
